Austin Daigle
Austin Daigle is a Fredericton based Jeweller, and aspiring sculptor.
After he graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD) from the jewellery and metal arts program, he has since worked as an art procurator and gallery assistant for Gallery on Queen. Austin has worked as a bench jeweller, and a writer for the artists, having done several artist interviews for Billie!
Austin often works with brass, embracing it’s historic use through shared cultures. His focus is often on incorporating strong visual elements and pierced material in his work.
